As COVID-19 restrictions forced organizations across nearly every sector to shift to remote work and virtual operations, many professions had to rapidly move sensitive data to cloud servers to maintain day-to-day operations, increasing potential exposure to fraudsters.

Rizk shared the firm’s close call with a phishing incident shortly after migrating to the cloud, and the proactive steps they took to secure systems and safeguard sensitive information.
